Donald Wilson OH MY GAWD! If first impressions mattered!....well, I mean, they do. And BOY does this one deliver! If this track sets the standard for the rest of the album, then Dear Rudiff 2 is set to be ten times more gruesome and exciting than the least one. This song gives me chills every time I listen to it! Just when I think Justin couldn't POSSIBLY raise the bar any higher!

hungryhippos_evanblake Gorgeous. Just fantastic. This sets such an incredible tone for what's to come. Happy to see a sequel to Dear Rudiff, and even happier that it slaps this hard, if this song and Justin's borderline flawless track record are anything to go by. Can't wait to hear the album. I especially love the instrumental here, has to be one of my favorites Justin's made to date.

Slayden Reed Always love anything new from Justin, but I gotta say I’ve specifically been anxious to hear more Prilly T!!!! It was just a couple months ago I relistened to Dear Rudiff about 15 times over, and now we have a nice surprise single for the sequel!!! Love it, can’t wait for the album.

Full album drops 03/08/2022

This is the first track of Dear Rudiff 2. The story takes place directly after "Hallowed" from Dear Rudiff 1. Enjoy!

lyrics

This that sequel
Out from depths where I came from,
Making brains crawl
Hands up, hit the ground
They saw blood—they saw it
Gun—they saw it
No way out
They spout rights
Take flight, take flight!
-Jokes
I been here all night exciting folks
These zip-ties is’ way too tight
It’s like… kinda’ hopeless to Houdini my escape
And no Rudiff in sight

It’s my plight on their menu
Bite down and send fools back to Hell
They sound the alarm!
Shells bang out but do no harm
Beanbag slugs to the chest
Regress, regret
Charming ‘cause you know I’m on that Hannibal shit
A mouth full of flesh
I’m an animal!
Shit, you’s right!
I been’ standing way too close to the glass
Is it my moment at last?

Bitch, I’m disappointed
Hear that thunderclap to the wrist-slap
Packed in the back of the S.W.A.T truck
Kiss my ass!
Doing laps in a figure four leg-trap
Captivated by the accident
Emancipation’s the opposite
No topping this or stopping this
They drop me off at the station
In the system, and it’s not a misdemeanor
Mister’s looking for life or death
But I guess they differ?
They found the shrink,
But they don’t know my little secret
-A hundred and twenty-two people still out there missing…

Listen on
I’m just a man who’s on a mission for proof
I’m not as sick as you may think
It’s all true!
I shot him
That’s part of the plot, man
It’s not what it seems
I could not make this up!
Take a little bit of this and that
Put ‘em together
With a pestle, you mix and mash
The truth’s written in the letter
Ain’t no guilt to backlash
The facts are packed up tight
That’s why I put up a fight!
Resist and recite
Don’t take my advice
An innocent killer was caught in the night!
I’ll be taking it slow
I’ll be feeding the gulls—swarming
Warning former versions of myself there’s something up there storming
It’s too early in the morning for this reporting
I done' it, I did it, I said I admit it
I’m sorry...

Ma’, I’m on the telly!
Yes, your baby’s that villain for life
Nobody blames you
Insane things became Tru
Danger in strange friendships
Remain sick—flipped in the head
My brain twists dark shit
It’s my form of catharsis
It speaks for my heart
‘Cause my tongue is too dumb for the part
I thought it was art
I guess I heard it all wrong from the start

about

Prilly T

Before anybody throws a fit about my use of the word, "Nigga," understand that I am half black. While it should not matter (because I am not using the word in a derogatory way), people are presumptuous. My biological father is 100% Jamaican, and even though I am passable as "white" I AM biracial. Getting upset by me using the word is denying the black half of my family's culture. ... more
